Oral Diagnosis and Radiology
Multidisciplinary detection and imaging of diseases in the oral and maxillofacial region.
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is the basic diagnosis department where intraoral and extraoral (jaw and facial region) examinations of patients are performed, and clinical findings are combined with radiographic images.
An accurate medical treatment planning is only possible with a detailed and correct vision. In our clinic, periapical X-rays, cephalometric films, and digital panoramic devices are actively used.
These data are referenced in early detection of caries lesions, evaluating periodontal bone losses, impacted tooth positions, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. The obtained clinical and radiological data are shared with all other dental branches (endodontics, surgery, orthodontics, etc.) to create a personalized multidisciplinary treatment route for the patient.
Radiation protocols are kept at international standards, prioritizing patient safety..
